The Check-in Process: For your safety, we will only allow one check-in at a time. On the morning of arrival, you will receive a Welcome text message. When you arrive, please drive under the porte-cochere at our lobby entrance. Please text or call us that you have arrived, and we will instruct you when you can come inside for check-in. You may also wait outside. In most cases, there will be no wait.
When you arrive: Please plan on wearing a facemask or face covering. Face coverings are required inside all public spaces as well as on all sidewalks and outdoor areas on the property. If you show any symptoms of illness, we will not be able to check you in. If you are feeling unwell prior to your arrival, please call us and we can reschedule your reservation.
During your stay. For your safety and to meet current COVID guidelines, we have closed all gathering areas on our property. Indoor dining has just been reopened with up to 25% capacity. Stella also offers take out service. To peruse both the breakfast and dinner menus, see here.
Daily housekeeping services will not be provided unless requested during your stay. For your well-being and the safety of our staff, once you take possession of your room, we do not enter unless you request service and give us permission. Use our texting program or call the front desk directly to request towels or any other needs. We will deliver items requested contactless in a basket to your front door.
Due to county COVID requirements, our hot tub is open by reservation only. Mixed household gatherings in hotel rooms are not allowed, as per Nevada County regulations. Here is everything you need to know about social gatherings.
These restrictions and protocols are necessary to keep both guests and staff safe. We know that these changes can be inconvenient. We all look forward to the day when we can once again hug with abandon, shake hands (versus constantly washing hands), mingle, and huddle closely, but until then, we have to work and manage this virus together. And we will prevail, together.
