Pacific Crest Snowcats will be offering evening wilderness adventure tours in their enclosed and heated snowcats. Just imagine complimentary wine and appetizers in the beauty of the Tahoe Wilderness atop the mountains with the stars shining above your head.
Guests will be picked up at the hotel at 5:45PM – Minimum group size is 4 people. $79.00 per person for the two hour tour.

The Cedar House Sport Hotel has partnered with local adventure tour operators to take our guests on guided snowshoe hikes.isurely naturalist led walks to strenuous ascents of nearby peaks. Trips range from leisurely naturalist led walks to strenuous ascents of nearby peaks. Guided snowshoe trips combine the peaceful majesty of Tahoe’s forests with stunning lake views. Treks for groups of 4 or more are $85 per person (subject to change) including a full deli spread lunch. Hikes are approximately 2- 4 miles and 3-4 hours long, although longer custom hikes are available.

The Cedar House Sport Hotel has teamed up with Eagle Ridge Snowmobile Outfitters, offering our guests a memorable guided snowmobile rides through the Tahoe National Forest. Eagle Ridge Snowmobile has a wide range of terrain and sites, suitable for all experience levels. Eagle Ridge Outfitters stands above the rest because their trail system consists of snow covered two lane forest service roads, covering an area of almost 650 square miles of forest wilderness, with up to 200 miles of maintained trails. Their highlight is that they offer the guests “play areas” exclusive to Eagle Ridge. These areas allow you to go off trail, in large open meadows, may times untracked.
You will view sights seen by few –vistas beyond no other. Each trip is personalized and your guide will ensure that your day will be an exciting adventure.

Olympic Ice Pavilion – This 100X200 Ice Rink overlooks the Lake and is located at High Camp in Squaw Valley, USA. The rink’s hours are from 10AM to 9PM daily.
Village at Northstar -Located at the heart of the new Village at Northstar – the ice rink is the place to gather with outdoor fire pits, a smore kiosk, boutique stores, and restaurants surrounding it on all sides. Perfect for an après ski outing.
Truckee Regional Park-
Located just 1/4 mile from the Cedar House Sport Hotel, the Truckee Regional Park offers open air ice skating from Thanksgiving through mid-March. Rates are $6.00 Adult / $5.00 Child with $2.00 skate rentals. Skating lessons are offered every Saturday with advanced registration preferred.
